• On the Growth Engineering team, I used React, custom Hooks, JavaScript, TypeScript, Tailwind, Storybook, & more to bring new feature requests from Product & Marketing stakeholders to fruition & increase performance plus reusability throughout the codebases
• Used Jest & Cypress to test frontend features, & RSpec with FactoryBot to mock & test behaviors of the codebase

• On an Internal Tools team, I worked on an in-house IMS (Inventory Management System) web app built with RoR, VueJS, HTML/CSS, & Postgres that allowed multiple internal teams to coordinate furnishing Landing's homes & manage utilities & access setup for members to have a seamless move-in & living experience
• Assisted with webhooks incorporation to pull real-time data across platforms, & facilitated database development with Postgres & ActiveRecord migrations
• As the IMS software transitioned to a legacy codebase when the company elected to purchase a true ERP software, I maintained data integrity to ensure internal teams had a smooth transition while the engineering team implemented the new ERP integration
• Simplified database batch updates using a tool called MaintenanceTasks
• Intensively QA others' code & UI/UX aspects before pushing to production to shorten the feedback & bug reporting cycle

Built new features for a React & node.js application using Material, Recharts, Axios, & Storeon for data collection from the company’s environmental monitoring sensors. This service is used for reading conditions & changes in museums, art galleries, archives, etc. It also provides user-friendly, in-depth analysis of conditions as a visual of how to best prevent damage & preserve historical & cultural item collections.

• Converted legacy code & redesigned UI/UX for the company’s major brand refresh release. This includes converting from Bootstrap to Material as well as replacing class components with pixel-perfect reusable React components & implementing React Hooks
• Collaborated with designers & CTO to turn mockups into functional features. Also helped conceptualize new features using Figma
• Attended client meetings to gather user feedback & offer technical assistance

• The focus of the Alumni Council is to bring alumni together to connect, give back, upskill, socialize & network, foster the growth of our local tech community, & celebrate the spirit of Innovate Birmingham.
